The Australian Friends of Sderot distribute funds to help financially struggling families in Sderot, including those children and families impacted by terrorist attacks, suffering from PTSD and enduring the impacts of Covid -19.
Sderot is a western Negev city in Israel. Sderot is located less than a mile from Gaza and is notable for having been a major target of Qassam rocket attacks from the Gaza Strip.
From 2001 until this day rocket attacks have killed and wounded many people, causing much physical and emotional suffering. Millions of dollars of damage have been caused along with the profound disruption of daily life.
