Tsad Kadima (a step forward)
Tsad Kadima is the only organization in Israel that implements and trains the unique Conductive Educational approach which focuses on developing personal abilities and constantly instilling motivation amongst children and adults with severe complex disabilities so they can learn skills and lead active, independent and autonomous lives, participating in their family and community frameworks and settings.
Tsad Kadima, an award-winning Israeli non-for-profit organization, was founded in 1987 by parents of children with Cerebral Palsy and professionals who embarked on a life-changing journey to bring the Conductive Education approach (Petõ) to Israel. We believe in the potential of children and young adults with complex physical disabilities to live as independently and autonomously as possible. Hundreds of children and adults attend our centers located in Or Akiva, Rishon LeTzion, Ness Ziona, Beer Sheva, Eilat, and Jerusalem (where our headquarters are located).
Your support will:
ADVANCE special programs for children with disabilities, such as a multi-sensory room and hydrotherapy.
ENABLE augmentative and alternative communication strategies, so those who cannot speak can.
ALLOW young adults with complex physical disabilities to experience summer camp, learn to live independently in the community, and even make music.
Your donation will also provide direct emotional support and mental health care to children with complex physical disabilities who are suffering from trauma and post-trauma due to the war, including children from the cities of Beer Sheva and Rishon Lezion.
